The Motor Trader Getting Back to Business Webinar, in association with MotoNovo Finance, will take place on Friday 12 June the at 15:00.
Panellists will include:
Karl Werner, deputy CEO of MotoNovo
Neil Hodson, CEO of Aston Barclay
Jim Reid, owner of Jim Reid Vehicle Sales
Mark Mitchell, group managing director, Mark Mitchell Group.
The webinar will provide practical hands-on information, guidance and insights for the many SME dealers, both franchised and independent, as the UK motor retailer community re-opens it showrooms.
Crucially, it will also offer reflections from the first two weeks of opening in England and look to the future.
Social distancing requirements, social and economic changes and the rapid acceleration of online activity mean that the trading landscape has changed, probably forever. So, it is not “business as usual”.
Motor retailing must look to re-invent itself to be leaner, closer to customers and more digitally engaged.
On a positive note, this enforced change is an opportunity for dealers to “sharpen the saw” and address the challenges that were slowly eroding the current model and thereby create a more sustainable future.
